After a donation by local Sikh business owners, Madera Police Department officers participated in outreach events last week to help out deserving families. 

The weekend night-shift officers met some families at the pumps and paid for a full tank of gas. 

The weekend day-shift found customers at local grocery stories and at homes to hand out gift cards.
