MNLL depth keys opening win

SELMA — For most Little League All-Star teams, the top of the batting order is where they get the most production. However, for the Madera National Little League 9-11-year-old All-Star team, it was the bottom of the order that came through in an 11-2 victory to open the District 10 All-Star Tournament.
The top five batters in the MNLL order went a combined 1-for-10, Meanwhile, the bottom part of the order (No. 6 through 12) went a combined 7-for-15 with 10 runs scored and six of the seven RBIs.
Kace Harris led the way with a triple and Alexander Patel drove in two with a double. Harris scored three runs with Elias Eck and Jacob Gallardo scoring two each.
