Minor injuries in GVUSD bus accident

A GMC Terrain sits in a lot after it was hit in the back by a tractor-trailer Thursday morning on Avenue 12. The impact cause the Terrain to run into a Golden Valley Unified School District bus, which caused a couple of minor injuries.
California Highway Patrol Madera officer responded to a three-vehicle crash involving a Golden Valley Unified School Bus and a tractor-trailer.
CHP officers responded Thursday morning at about 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 32.
A 48-year-old female was driving the GVUSD school bus with 29 students board. The bus was stopped going northbound on Road 32 at the stop sign at Avenue 12 to make a right turn going east on Avenue 12.
