MCSOS hosts career day

Students get hands on experience in the Medical field as they participate in a suture workshop during a Medical Career Days event hosted by Madera County Superintendent of Schools and the Madera County Compact on March 10.
More than 125 high school students from Madera South, Madera, Chowchilla, Yosemite, Minarets, Pioneer Technical Center, Liberty, and Matilda Torres high schools attended Medical Careers Day on March 10 at the Madera County Superintendent of Schools Conference Center.
Students from throughout Madera County participated in hands-on workshops and was provided information on the employment and educational opportunities available to them in the medical field last Friday.
A number of employers and college institutions were at the event, including: University California of San Francisco, California State University Fresno, Madera Community College, Central Valley Health Network, Camarena Health, California Health Science University, Pistoresi Ambulance, and others.
