Deputies Efren Garcia and Johnny Lorance were recently sworn in following their academy graduation ceremony from the State Center Police Academy in Fresno as part of Class 175.

They were both sponsored as Cadets by MCSO, attending the academy full-time and completing 1,032 hours of a rigorous curriculum covering over 42 topical areas.

“We are proud to welcome our two newest cadets to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office,” Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue said. “The MCSO is committed to expanding our ranks with professional and hardworking individuals who strive to embody the values we uphold, and protect and serve our community with distinction.”
