Madera County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) announced that starting last Saturday, the COVID-19 vaccine for ages 3 to 5 will be available at the Madera Public Health Clinic, 1604 Sunrise Avenue.
MCDPH will only be offering the Moderna vaccine to children ages 3 to 5 years old. Visit MaderaCounty.com/COVID19Vaccine for the most up to date information.
Madera County Public Health Officer Dr. Simon Paul states, “We are excited to be the first in the county to administer the vaccine to children under the age of 5. Getting everyone in our homes and communities vaccinated is key to reducing spread to family members who are higher risk for COVID complications.”
