On the backs of two victories to open the District 10 tournament, the Madera American Little League 8-12-year-old All-Star team is one win away from the tournament championship. 

Madera American opened the tournament with an 8-2 victory Friday over Chowchilla. 

The bottom of the order got on base for Madera American, and the top of the order drove them in. The No. 8-11 batters accounted for six of the eight runs in the win. Carlitos Hernandez and Adrian Andrade each scored two runs.
