Madera volleyball teams get ready for league

While Madera South and Matilda Torres just finished its first week in the North Yosemite League girls volleyball schedule, the Madera Coyotes still have a week to go before County/Metro Athletic Conference play.

All three teams prepared for league by participating in the annual Madera Classic Volleyball Tournament held at Madera South on Friday and Saturday.

The Madera Coyotes went 4-1 in the tournament and capped its run with a three-set win over Madera South in the Gold Bracket on Saturday.
