Madera sports figures mourned

It has been a rough couple of weeks for the Madera athletic community. 

Over the course of the past few weeks, Madera has seen the passing of two Madera Athletic Hall of Famers, and two closely associated with athletics in the town, and to this writer. 

Billy Tate was the first to pass a couple of a weeks ago. I didn’t really know Tate, but I knew of his feats on the athletic field at Madera High School.
