WEST SACRAMENTO — Fernando M. Gonzalez has successfully completed cadet training at the California Highway Patrol Academy and has been assigned to duty at the CHP’s Santa Cruz Area office.

Officer Gonzalez graduated from Madera South High School in 2019. He earned an Associates of Arts Degree in criminal justice from Madera Community College. Prior to attending the CHP Academy, he worked as a Security Guard for Madera Private Security Patrol in Madera.
