The Madera City Council has decided how to proceed with phase four of the cannabis retail license award process.
After hearing a report and proposal by Community Development Director, Will Tackett, during the regular city council meeting on November 15, council members were asked to advise on how to proceed with phase four of the retail license award procedure.
During this phase, qualified applicants will be given the opportunity to make a final presentation to city council members who will then conduct an interview process and give a final opportunity for public comment before making the final selections of who will receive the covered retail licenses. Public engagement is encouraged during this final phase.
