Fury Hot Chicken owner Marcel McAlister stands with the four trophies he and his team won at last month’s Biggest Little Wing Fest in Reno. The biggest trophy is for placing first in Celebrity Choice.
Popular Madera food truck, Fury Hot Chicken, made its way to the 2024 Biggest Little Wing Fest in Reno last month, and came away with trophies in four out of the five categories.
Fury placed first in Celebrity Choice, placed second in Best Dry Rub with its Honey Smoked Dry Rub, second in Most Unique Wing with its Szechuan flavored wings, and third for Best Barbecue Wing.
“It feels great to get these awards,” said Marcel McAlister, founder and owner of Fury Hot Chicken. “This competition is considered a big deal. We took it serious and went there wanting to win something, and serve the customers at a high level.”
