Madera County Postmaster, Arvin Sekhon, welcomed all to the kick-off of the 32nd Annual Letter Carrier Food Drive. The Post Office has partnered with the Madera Food Bank in urging residents of our community to place non-perishable foods in bags next to their mailboxes on May 11.

The 32nd annual Letter Carrier Food Drive Kick-off for Madera was held on Monday at the northwest corner of the Madera Post Office.

The foods donated by the community of Madera will be collected on Saturday, and then donated to help local food banks replenish their stock.

The Madera Postmaster, Arvin Sekhon introduced the mayor of Madera, Santos Garcia, who presented a proclamation. Also present were Executive Director of the Madera County Food Bank Ryan McWherter and others.
