Linden Tree Apartments owner and builder Ubaldo Garcia stands with a City Council proclamation after a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 1. With Garcia are Madera City Manager Arnoldo Rodriguez, left, and Madera City Councilwoman Cece Gallegos, right.
Earlier this month, Madera High School alumna Ubaldo Garcia finally cut the ceremonial ribbon on his Linden Tree Apartment complex (711 Linden Street), finishing off a six-year journey.
“It feels pretty good. It went pretty slowly, but it’s finally here,” he said.
Garcia, a 2003 Madera High School graduate, originally submitted plans for his complex in 2018, got approved in 2021 and construction took about three years.
