Madera FAN to induct 10th HOF class

Longtime Babe Ruth coach and supporter of athletics, Kenny Taylor, will be inducted into the 10th class of the Madera Athletic Hall of Fame on January 18 at the Madera Municipal Golf Course Banquet Room. He will be inducted with seven athletes, two coaches and another contributor.

The Madera Foundation of high school Athletic Needs (F.A.N.) will hold its 10th Madera Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony to highlight the careers of seven athletes, two coaches and two contributors.


The Hall of Fame Ceremony is January 18 at the Madera Municipal Golf Course Banquet Room. The cost is $50 per person. Tickets are available by contacting Tyler Takeda at tylert@maderatribune.net. The event begins at 5 p.m. with induction ceremonies to begin at about 6 p.m., and will be catered by Sugar Pine at the Muni.


“We are honoring a lot of great athletes in Madera,” Madera F.A.N. President Ryan Desmond said. “We hope the community comes out to honor everyone who contributed to athletics in Madera.”
