Madera County Sheriff hosts awards, promotion ceremony

Madera County Sheriff Tyson Pogue swears in new hires and those being promoted during a a Madera County Sheriff’s Office Swearing-In, Promotions & Awards Ceremony at Torres High School’s Dining Hall on Thursday.
The Madera County Sheriff’s Office kicked off the new year with a Swearing-in, Promotions and Awards ceremony last week at Matilda Torres High School.
Seven members of the MCSO received honorary awards at the ceremony on Thursday.
In addition, 11 members were promoted, and 12 were officially sworn in to duty. The MCSO also handed out Service Awards to three officers.
