Madera business helps with LA fires

For The Madera Tribune

A load of supplies from Madera’s Cal-Pacific Supply sits at a command center for Los Angeles firefighters. Cal-Pacific has made two trips to Los Angeles to send down supplies with more to come.

By the time this article publishes, a Cal-Pacific Supply truck will have made its third trip to Los Angeles to help supply firefighters with tools needed to help the many wildfires in the area.

Owner Mike Alamari made sure to get the supplies quickly to the front line to help the fire fighters.

“We didn’t donate supplies, but we took them right away, and directly to the fire zone,” he said. “We were waiting for a call from our contractors because we supply to them and they contract with Cal Fire. Cal Fire contracts out to a bunch of different companies that supply them with Porta-Potties, and we supply them with paper and other stuff.”
