Our entire world has changed over the past few decades. Not only have we seen vast advances in technology, but we have also become very dependent on it. Additionally, I have seen some drastic changes in how people interact with each other, how people feel about issues, and how they conduct their lives. There are quite a number of factors that have created these changes in people.

One of the things I have noticed, very simply — is how we cross a street as a pedestrian.

Recently, I was tootling down the street, at whatever was the speed limit, and suddenly I came to a crosswalk. There was a woman pushing a stroller, who set out to cross the street. I was coming toward that crosswalk and was not going too fast, so I was able to stop easily. However, I noticed that she did not look either way when she crossed within that crosswalk.
