Loneliness, at home and abroad
First off, I wanted to apologize for my absence for the last 12 months. My wife and myself had been putting off some surgeries and we decided not to wait any longer.
We had them done so they could put us both back together. They used a lot of glue on me, and it seems to be holding. So, I decided to write some more columns as I really loved it prior. Enough of that.
I was watching a movie the other night about a young veteran that was deployed, got home and was going through a lot attempting the transition from military life to civilian life. He stated that he felt like he was alone while deployed and still feeling lonely while back home. That made me think and it brought some thoughts back to me, so I understood how he felt.
