Local cardiologist wins Lifetime Achievement award

Madera interventional cardiologist Dr. Ranjit S. Rajpal accepts the Fresno-Madera Medical Society’s Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of his more than 40 years of service and commitment to advancing cardiovascular health, medical education and public health advocacy for his patients and for the greater Central Valley Medical Community.
Madera interventional cardiologist, Dr. Ranjit S. Rajpal, was recently presented with the Fresno-Madera Medical Society’s (FMMS) Lifetime Achievement award in recognition of his more than 40 years of service and commitment to advancing cardiovascular health, medical education and public health advocacy for his patients and for the greater Central Valley Medical Community.
The Medical Society has presented this prestigious award for the past 10 years to leaders in medicine, and Dr. Rajpal is the first physician from Madera, as well as the first Punjabi Sikh American to be presented with the award.
The award was presented at the Society’s Annual Gala Installation Ceremony at the Fort Washington Golf and Country Club in Fresno on November 15.
