Liberty star headed to Chico

Liberty track star Grace Haney, and her parents, are all smiles after signing a National Letter of Intent to Chico State in May.

Liberty track star Grace Haney will be part of a new pipeline between Madera-area track (and cross country) athletes and Chico State University after signing a National Letter of Intent in May. 

She joins Madera South cross country and track stars Adrian Hipolito and Dylan Devine, who signed last year, and Jimena Rivera, who signed this year to Chico State. 

“It’s cool that I’m going with people in my area,” she said.
