Liberty softball player Rylee Bocchini, and her parents, are all smiles after signing a National Letter of Intent to play at Fresno State.
From the start, Liberty Hawk catcher Rylee Bocchini just wanted to play softball. She knew she wanted to play softball in college, but really didn’t care where.
However, after signing her National Letter of Intent, Bocchini will continue her softball career about 30 minutes away with the Bulldogs at Fresno State.
“It was so exciting for me,” she said. “When I was little, that was what I wanted to do. I wanted to play softball. Originally, I didn’t want to go to Fresno State. My sophomore year, Coach (Keith) Davis told me to go to the Fresno State camp. I told him no, I didn’t want to go to Fresno State. I knew I definitely wanted to play softball in college, but didn’t know at what level. I wanted to go to Div. I and go to a big school. I never knew where I would end up.”
