LOS BANOS — The Liberty Hawks football team finally stayed way from the turnover bug and ran its way to a 20-0 victory over the Los Banos Tigers.
After committing nine turnovers to open the season with three losses, the Hawks forced six turnovers in Friday’s victory over the Tigers for their first win of the season.
The Tigers had eight drives in the game, and six ended in a turnover, including one on the Liberty one just before halftime.
