Liberty’s Emma Del Toro rises up to get a kill past the Madera South block during Thursday’s three-set sweep over the Stallions.
The Liberty Hawks took advantage of early Madera South miscues to record a three-set girls volleyball sweep at Madera South.
The Hawks won the first set by a commanding 25-14 score. However, the Stallions fought tough in the next two sets, losing 25-22 and 25-19.
Both teams battled early season miscues. The teams combined for 18 missed serves and just 35 combined kills. Only three players, combined, had more than five kills.
