Letters: High Speed Rail Depot in Madera

I’m not surprised that some still actually think that High Speed Rail will actually happen. Some sill think the earth is flat. And at any cost? Must be pipe dreams. Look that definition up on the internet. 

But, when I see the meeting announcement on the back page of the April 13, Tribune that Madera is planning for a HSR Depot at Avenue 12 I am taken aback. 

The authority that’s driving the project would have done well to be just a little more informative if they would have had published the description of the project for us tax payers. It’s amazing to me how the government, even ours, throws money around like popcorn in the theaters.
