Lee’s Concrete captures AAA title

Madera National Little League AAA champion Lee’s Concrete responded to a six-run inning by Madera American Little League champion Silva’s construction with three runs of its own for a 7-6 victory to capture the Madera AAA City Championship.

Silva’s scored six runs in the top of the fourth inning for a 6-4 lead. However, Lee’s Conrete battled back with three runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead.

Jesse Zapata posted two more zeroes on the scoreboard to lead Lee’s Concrete to the win. He didn’t allow a hit over the final 2 1/3 innings with four strikeouts and a walk.
