Law enforcement combines for school safety

It’s time for the School Zone Blitz, and the public needs to start the school year with safety.
Throughout this first week of school Madera Police Department, Madera County Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol will be suited up and visible for the School Zone Blitz.
Student safety is the top priority and officers and deputies will be out in school zones ensuring that drivers are taking safety seriously.
