Inconsistency plagues Coyotes

Madera’s Damian Bispham gets a kill down the line during Tuesday’s four-set loss to Edison. Bispham led the Coyotes with 15 kills.
Things seemed to be rolling for the Madera Coyotes boys volleyball team early in its County/Metro Athletic Conference match against the Edison Tigers.
Coming off their tournament victory in Reedley over the weekend, the Coyotes used that momentum for a 25-12 first set win over Edison. Then, the wheels came off as the Tigers pounded their way for a 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 win to take the match in Joe Flores Gym.
The Coyotes had their share of kills, combining for 43 kills in the four sets, but Edison found too many spots in the Madera defense. Madera also had too many errors, hitting balls out of bounds, hitting balls into the net and net violations.
