Madera FFA and Madera Unified School District host the annual Ag Literacy Days at Madera South High School on Thursday where hundreds of MUSD students visited the Plant a Pumpkin station, the Petting Zoo, the Fun Zone, an Orange’s Journey station and the Pumpkin Patch.

The annual Madera Unified School District (MUSD) Madera Future Farmers of America (FFA) Ag Literacy Days concluded this week.

An estimated 1,600 MUSD TK and kindergarten students immersed themselves in the world of agriculture Wednesday through Friday this week at Madera South High School.

During the event, Madera FFA members assisted students in hands-on activities and interactive lessons, such as a petting zoo, planting pumpkin seeds, and creating a picture book showing an orange’s farm-to-table journey.
