How to join the military

Veterans’ Voices is directed toward veterans and their families who have given so much to ensure our freedom in this country. I have been getting emails with questions about the military. Why join and which branch has the most benefits? How long is an enlistment, among other questions. So, I did some research on the VA websites as well as military. I wanted to get the latest materials. Of course, before you sign the enlistment papers, do your own research. I know there will be small mistakes, but as a whole it will give you the idea.

There are six branches of the US armed forces.
