His Little Feet perform at VWCC

Nancy Simpson/The Madera Tribune

Twelve children from Rwanda and India are the voices for orphaned and vulnerable children in His Little Feet International children’s choir.

The children were cute. The message was meaningful, and the congregation was blessed at Valley West Christian Center on Tuesday night, as the performance of His Little Feet sang and danced across the platform of the church. Twelve children, all from Rwanda or India, make up an international children’s choir called His Little Feet. They sang praise songs, quoted scriptures, and told a little about themselves and their homes.

The choir tours the United States, representing orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide who are from poverty areas. The choir participants have all faced tremendous challenges in their young lives, but now represent love and hope.

Each year a choir trains for this tour. This one began in September of last year, and will be in the United States until July of this year. Churches and other organizations schedule this choir, providing host families to house the children during their stays.
