CARUTHERS — The Liberty Hawks haven’t seen a score like they did last week in almost seven years.
The Caruthers Blue Raiders, using mostly their run game, gave the Hawks a little of their own medicine in a 58-26 victory Friday in Caruthers.
Usually, it’s the Hawks that will grind teams down and will run the ball until they are stopped. Liberty has had great success in its wing-T offense. The Hawks haven’t seen a day like Friday since they lost to the Madera South Stallions, 63-36, in a 2016 playoff game.
