Hawks’ season ends in first round

ATASCADERO — The Liberty Hawks offense did enough to jump out to a halftime lead in the first-round of the Div. V Central Section playoffs against Atascadero.
However, the 12th-seeded Hawks were outscored 14-0 in the second half while the fifth-seeded Greyhounds ended Liberty’s season with a 21-14 victory Friday night.
Except for one 13-play, 77-yard drive, Liberty was held to just 32 yards in four second half possessions.
