Hawks dominant on Homecoming

Liberty’s Jacob Rogers-Lehman turns the corner to score the first of his two long touchdown runs in Friday’s 48-8 victory over the Parlier Panthers on Homecoming.

 

The Liberty Hawks football team scored on the game’s first play and didn’t stop in a 48-8 victory over the Parlier Panthers on Homecoming.


Liberty quarterback Adrian Vasquez received the opening kick-off and returned it 66 yards for a touchdown. Then, the Hawks scored on seven of their nine possessions to record the victory.


The Hawks gained 476 yards in the victory on only 27 plays. They averaged 17.6 yards per play. Meanwhile, the Panthers gained 299 yards against the Hawks with 259 on the ground. However, they averaged four yards per play.
