The Liberty Hawks softball team surrounds home plate to greet Carly Jimenez (left with helmet) after she hit her second home run of the game in Tuesday’s 14-0 victory over Minarets.

After suffering through the Spring Break, the Liberty Hawks put their frustrations on the Minarets Mustangs in a Northwest Sequoia League mercy-rule victory.

The Hawks couldn’t get a run across during the four games of the Buchanan Easter Classic over Spring Break. However, all four teams were ranked higher than the Hawks.

Against Minarets, the Hawks scored runs in the first four innings to cruise to a 14-0 victory over Minarets in league play.
