The Punjabi American Growers’ Group (PAGG) is hosting the Central Valley Growers Agricultural Workshop on Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on the grounds of the Madera Gurudwara Sahib, Sikh Temple at 23249 Avenue 14 in Madera.
The Director of PAGG said, “We’re excited to be able to bring to one location many experts in ag related areas willing to share their knowledge. Farmers in California are facing unprecedented challenges. By working together, we believe we can all benefit and prosper. But that requires us to know what the real issues are and how to approach solutions. This event is for everyone, Punjabi or not, growers or not. All who want to preserve this Valley’s ag way of life are welcome to join us.”
Featured will be a series of panel discussions covering the topics growers need to be informed about to stay competitive in California agricultural industry. Professional development will also be offered with 1.5 Continuing Education credits available to eligible Pest Control Advisors for Laws and Regulations, Pests, and Diseases.
