Glacier wins fourth straight Madera County Decathlon

The Glacier Point Academic Decathlon team shows off awards after winning its fourth straight Madera county Academic Decathlon title.

For the fourth consecutive year, Glacier High School Charter prevailed, making them the champions of the 43rd Madera County Academic Decathlon.

Glacier High will advance to the state competition March 21-23. They earned a score of 30,115.1 and will advance to the California Academic Decathlon and compete against the best teams in the state.

Six schools competed Saturday in the 10-event competition answering questions based on the topic “Our Changing Climate.”
