The Toros took a five-point lead midway through the fourth, but couldn’t buy a bucket over the final minutes of the game while the Stallions closed the game on a 11-0 run while outscoring Torres 15-4 in the fourth for a 70-64 victory Wednesday evening.
Both teams combined to shot 45 percent from 3-point land with Madera South hitting 16 3-pointers and the Toros hitting 12. However, the teams also combined to go 6-of-19 from the free throw line (32 percent). Unfortunately, the Toros were just 4-of-15, including 1-for-7 in the fourth quarter, from 3-point land in the second half.
