Felon in possession of firearm arrest

Madera County Sheriff detained an Hispanic male shooting near the railroad tracks in the area of Harper Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. After investigation and executing a search warrant, MCSO deputies display what was found at the suspect’s residence, including additional ammunition and firearms.

 

Madera County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of Harper Boulevard and Arizona Avenue following reports of a Hispanic male shooting a firearm near the railroad tracks. 


Upon arrival Thursday, 39-year old Miguel Angel Flores Jr., was contacted and detained.  


Further investigation led Deputies with the Madera Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Team (MADSET) to serve a warrant in the 16000 block of Harper Boulevard at Flores’ residence. During the search, additional firearms and ammunition were located. Flores is prohibited from possessing firearms/ammunition and was arrested for various firearm related charges.
