Failed red light stop ends in accident

Madera PD was called to a traffic accident on Lake Street and Cleveland Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. on August 20. 

A Chevrolet was being driven by a 27-yard-old male, traveling west on Cleveland. Another vehicle, a Ford, was traveling east, driven by a 42-year-old male.

The Chevrolet failed to stop at the red light and collided with the Ford, which had the right of way.
