A pick-up truck sits on the lawn of a house after it struck a cinder block wall and came to rest before it ran into a house on April 3.
CHP Madera officers responded to a solo vehicle crash involving a blue Chevrolet S-10 pick-up.
An 18-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet S-10 on Lane Drive, in the area of Walden Drive on April 3 at about 5 a.m. He was unable to negotiate the slight curve on the roadway, and crashed into a cinder block wall, at a nearby residence.
The driver was determined to be under the influence, with a blood alcohol concentration (B.A.C) of three times the legal limit. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and did not sustain any injuries. He was booked at the Madera County Jail.
