Donut creator arrested

Madera CHP officers responded to a call on State Route 145 and Avenue 7 about multiple cars blocking the intersection.
When officers arrived Saturday at about 4 p.m., they saw multiple spectators and cars doing donuts in the intersection.
The driver of a white Ford Mustang, who was doing the donuts, left his vehicle and fled on foot. The back seat passenger, a 19-year-old male from Fresno, got into the driver’s seat, and drove away, recklessly. He crashed the Mustang into another vehicle, and fled the scene.
