Coyotes score late for mercy win

The Madera Coyotes softball scored in every inning except the first, and invoked the mercy rule for a 10-0 victory over the Dinuba Emperors at Madera Coyote Softball Stadium.

The Coyotes banged out 14 hits, stole nine bases and took advantage of six Dinuba errors for Tuesday’s victory. 

The Coyotes scored a run in the second, two in the third  and one in the fourth and fifth innings before putting the game away with five runs in the sixth.
