Coyotes lose slugfest to Panthers

The Madera Coyotes baseball team was looking forward to the upcoming County/Metro Athletic Conference week after going 3-1 in the Fresno Easter Classic over Spring Break last week. 

However, that excitement lasted just three innings against the San Joaquin Memorial Panthers on Wednesday in Mel Parker Field. 

Last time out, Madera starter Josh McKeever tossed a two-hitter in a victory. However, he lasted just two innings against the Panthers.
