Madera’s Michael Pedro races down the sideline to score one of his four touchdowns in Friday’s 48-0 victory over Madera South.
The Madera Coyotes were dominate in all three facets during a 48-0 victory over the Madera South Stallions in the Stadium Road Showdown, held for the first time at Madera South.
The win marked the third shutout in the 16 games played between the two schools, and tied for largest margin of victory (2012, 48-0) Friday night in a game that was televised by KFRE-59.
“We definitely came into this week with a different mindset,” Madera head coach Kenny Paolinelli said. “We got a little complacent and pot-bellied last week after starting 2-0. We didn’t have a great week of practice. This week, the attention to detail and focus was there.”
