Coyotes continue winning

Madera’s Joel Arellano led the Coyotes to an 8-5 victory Saturday over Central Valley Christian in Visalia. He hit a first inning, two-run home run to get the Coyotes on the board.
While the rain played havoc on outdoor spring sports last week, it was dry enough for the area baseball teams to resume action over the weekend.
The Madera Coyotes baseball team kept up its winning ways with a victory on the road in Visalia against Central Valley Christian. Meanwhile, Madera South and Matilda Torres suffered Saturday losses.
Madera continues play on Tuesday against Dinuba and Wednesday against Hanford West. Both games are scheduled for 6 p.m.
