Coyote wrestlers edged out of title

At the end of the day, all that was needed was one more win for the Madera Coyotes wrestling team to win the Div. II Central Section Championship.

“Kingsburg did it’s job and put the pressure on us,’” head coach Joe Romine said.

Romine said that before the finals, there was only one way for Kingsburg to take the championship from the Coyotes. Unfortunately, that was the way for the Vikings to win. They won three of five championship matches while the Coyotes went 0-3.
