Coyote girls win on Senior Night

Madera senior Brooke Houghton drives in for a bucket to lead the Coyotes to a Senior Night victory against the McLane Highlanders.

The Madera Coyotes girls basketball team came together to send off its four seniors with a Sr. night Victory in Joe Flores Gym.

The Coyotes defeated the McLane Highlanders, 50-27, Thursday to give seniors Abby Romero, Brooke Houghton, Aaliyah String and Jania Warren a victory. Because of injuries, String and Warren were not able to play.

Houghton scored 15 points to go with nine rebounds, including five offensive boards. Romero scored one point, but pulled down seven rebounds.
