Cooling center activated all week

Due to the high temperatures this week, the City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department will be opening the Cooling Center at the Pan American Community Center at 703 E. Sherwood Way.
The Pan Am Center will be open up to Sunday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
The Madera Police Department at 330 S. “C” Street will also offer a 24-hour Cooling Center during the above-mentioned days.
