The City All-Stars fell behind, but scored a run in the seventh to tie it and a run in the bottom of the ninth to walk off a 4-3 victory Sunday at the 56th annual City/County All-Star Baseball game at Chukchansi Park.

The City scored the game-winning run off Madera ace Jaydian Chavira, who was in his second inning of work. He was the only County pitcher that threw multiple innings.

“It was awesome doing it in high school one more time,” he said. “It didn’t end the way I wanted. I tried my best. I’m really happy and blessed I got to do this.”
